Originally from England (yes, the accent is real), Terry Wells has been making waves at Atlantic Edge Scuba since 2009. As Store Manager, he keeps the shop running smoothly — but don’t let that title fool you. Terry is just as comfortable behind the counter as he is 60 feet underwater.

With thousands of dives under his belt, Terry has explored reefs, wrecks, aquariums, lakes, and just about any place deep enough to require fins. He has taught countless classes, led dozens of unforgettable scuba trips around the world, and can certify divers in over 25 specialties. From helping brand-new students assemble their gear at the local pool, to fine-tuning buoyancy at Lake Phoenix, to leading Guest Dives at the National Aquarium, Terry is always in the action. He also helps train dive professionals, mentoring the next generation of instructors with the same passion and energy he brings to every dive.

You truly can’t miss him — not just because of the accent, but because of his contagious laugh, larger-than-life personality, and his ability to turn any class into a great story. Terry believes diving should be safe, exciting, and most of all fun. And once the gear is rinsed and the tanks are filled? He’s always ready to share a laugh — and maybe a well-earned beverage.
