Will campers become scuba certified?
Campers that meet the minimum requirements as set by PADI, will receive what is called a ‘referral’, which means they will complete all their class work and pool work for their Open Water Diver Certification*. All campers have to do next is complete four Open Water Training Dives with an instructor and they will be fully certified. Atlantic Edge has training dives going on all summer, with local options in Virginia and Maryland. Campers can also take their referrals with them on their next vacation and complete their dives with any instructor almost anywhere in the world.
*Campers that are under 15 at the time of their Training Dives will receive Jr. Open Water Diver certifications
We'll send Campers an email containing the waiver packet within a week of registration.
