Yes!! Scuba Camp is a great way for kids, even ones that are already certified, to get in the water, have fun, learn more, and meet other kids with similar interests. We encourage kids that are already certified to join us for camp.
We are proud to announce this is our 13th summer we will offer Scuba Camp.
Atlantic Edge cannot provide any transportation for campers. We will provide drinks and snacks for campers but all campers should plan on bringing personal lunches. We will have coolers for campers to put lunches in the morning when they arrive.
We are currently accepting registrations online. If you would like to sign up, view the schedule on our Scuba Camp page, and click the ‘register’ button next to the camp you would like to have your camper attend.
Campers at least 10 years old and who meet the minimum requirements as set by PADI, will receive what is called a ‘referral’, which means they will complete all their class work and pool work for their Open Water Diver Certification*. All campers have to do next is complete four Open Water Training Dives with an instructor and they will be fully certified. Atlantic Edge has training dives going on all summer, with local options in Northern Virginia and Westminster, Maryland, as well as in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Campers can also take their referrals with them on their next vacation and complete their dives with any instructor almost anywhere in the world.

* Campers that are under 15 at the time of their Training Dives will receive Jr. Open Water Diver certifications
