The "Bring a Buddy" Scuba Try It is designed to help you entice a friend or family member to try scuba with you. So if your certified and want to show someone you know how to scuba, then sign the 2 of you up for the bring a buddy.
You learn the basics you need to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. One thing you'll learn is that you really can breathe underwater and whether you like doing that or not. You will:
All the equipment you will need is included in a Scuba Try It experience. You'll use all the basic scuba gear including a mask and snorkel, fins, a buoyancy compensating jacket (BCD) that carries your weights and scuba tank, a scuba regulator to breathe from, and instrumentation to monitor depth and air supply.
To participate in the Scuba Try It program you must be at least 10 years old. One participant must be able to provide proof of certification (either a physical card, or through an online dive check).
Please note that one purchase is for two people. Please sign up either participant for the order. Then, either place in the notes the first name, last name, and email address (if available) of the 2nd participant. That, or you must respond with the information in the confirmation email you receive after sign up.
Each place available is for each group of two available. So if it says there are "3 places available," it means there are 6 spots open. Purchasing a space available is a registration for 2 of the 6 spots open. "3 spaces available" will then become "2 spaces available" with 4 spots open.
