Dive with Atlantic Edge in the warm waters of Bonaire this October. Divers on this unique, mission-driven excursion will explore Bonaire’s beautiful underwater world with the guidance of Buddy Dive; become a certified Reef Renewal divers through Reef Renewal Bonaire and expand their knowledge of conservation action with assistance from the expert staff from the National Aquarium in Baltimore—all while relaxing sea side and enjoying local beverages and cuisine.
With at least 60 officially listed dive sites, Bonaire is a diving mecca for anyone looking to spend as much time as possible underwater in a relaxed atmosphere, without being at the mercy of a boat captain’s schedule. The world-renowned dive operation at Buddy Dive Resort is perfect for you to make the most of your dive vacation.
Bonaire’s sea abounds with beautiful aquatic
life and a fascinating variety of multi-colored tropical fish. The sea is remarkably calm, and conditions are superb for both scuba diving and snorkeling. This is also a great opportunity to catch up on additional training—Atlantic Edge will be offering specialty training upon request.
Buddy Dive is an unhurried resort, nestled within unspoiled, natural paradise, with spectacular sunsets, gentle breezes and crystal-clear turquoise waters.
The personable staff, spacious accommodations and comprehensive dive operation will make your holiday worry-free. No matter which apartment you are staying in, you’re never farther than a giant stride away from the beautiful ocean.
Through Atlantic Edge’s affiliation with Reef Renewal Bonaire, our trip includes a comprehensive overview of the coral-restoration programs in Bonaire as well as a tour of one of the coral nurseries located on-site at the Buddy Dive house reef.
Individuals are encouraged to learn how to become more involved in Reef Renewal at reefrenewalbonaire.org.
Join interactive workshops crafted by experts from the National Aquarium who are certified by the National Network for Ocean and Climate Change Interpretation (NNOCCI) to strengthen our voices and increase our collective impact in promoting climate action. Workshops will take place intermittently throughout the week and are planned as laidback activities on the beach while unwinding with refreshments after a long dive day.
