This is a great program for groups, large families or scouts. We provide everything you need to learn to scuba dive.
Course Includes:
Class and Pool
All instruction for classroom review and pool sessions (Atlantic Edge will provide pool), PADI E-Learning Online, use of mask, snorkel, and fins, Scuba gear, wetsuit, and weights*. Students will receive a PADI Referral form upon successful completion of all classroom review and pool dives. This referral can be used to complete training dives with Atlantic Edge locally or with any PADI Instructor worldwide.
Training Dives
All you have to do to complete your certification is 4 training dives over 2 days (these dives are additional), check the Atlantic Edge schedule for upcoming training dive dates or we can schedule dives to fit your groups schedule locally. A PADI Open Water certification is good for life, so divers will not have to take the course again.
Course Costs: (Group pricing is for groups of 5 or more)
Knowledge Development and Pool Training Dives *
5-8 Students: $434 per student $270 per student
9-12 Students: $404 per student $245 per student
13 + Students $374 per student $220 per student
The knowledge and pool course can be completed in as little as one day depending on the size of the group.
Gear:
Atlantic Edge will provide students with all necessary gear (excepting bathing suit and towel). Scuba gear including mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, wetsuit, weights, tanks, and BCD will be provided on a rental basis (cost is included in course cost). We do encourage everyone to have their own Mask and Snorkel, however that is not necessary.
*If students provide their own gear for Training Dives which includes (mask, snorkel, fins and boots) $25 can be subtracted from Training Dive price per student providing their own gear. Snorkeling fins, without booties do not qualify as fins. Atlantic Edge does offer a student package which includes, mask, snorkel, fins and booties for $195.95.
Minimum Age is 10.
Course requires pre-course completion of the entire PADI E-Learning program. Students must bring E-Learning completion form to the pool session in order to participate.
